Regional Australians 19% More Likely to Suffer Stroke

Every 9 minutes someone in Australia is experiencing a stroke, and regional Australians are 19% more likely to suffer a stroke than people in metropolitan areas.

To find out more about this serious epidemic and what can be done, Anita spoke to Stroke Foundation Spokesperson Scott Stirling on the Regional Roundup.

Mr Stirling told Flow FM telehealth services should be implemented across the nation to allow people in regional and remote areas to access efficient and reliable diagnoses.
