The Mallee Sustainable Farming (MSF) conference on August 7 and 8 will bring a celebrity lineup to Mildura at the Quality Hotel Mildura Grand.
With a theme of ‘Our Future in the Global Food System’, the networking event will be MCed by TV journalist Pip Courtney, in addition to a special dinner presentation from celebrity chef Simon Bryant on the first night.
The conference aims to bring together Mallee farmers from SA, NSW and Victoria to hear from a variety of speakers and celebrate Mallee Sustainable Farming’s 20th anniversary.
Speakers include GRDC’s Managing Director Steve Jefferies, Pulse Australia Chairman Ron Storey, representatives from livestock and hay industries and the CSIRO showcasing the exciting role of digital technologies in agriculture.
The face of farming in 2030 will also be a key point of discussion, as the Kondinin Group offer a glimpse of farming in the future including electric drive-trains in machinery, autonomous tractors and drones.
Delegates are also invited to tour of Mildura’s Nu-Edge fertiliser factory, followed by beer tasting and informal dinner at the BROO Brewery and Pub, Langtree Ave Mildura.
This event is aimed at all growers, advisors and Ag industry personnel wanting to get the inside edge on farming in the Mallee, and provides an exceptional networking opportunity.
