It’s a Question of Priorities
Since her election to Parliament in July last year, Senator Hanson, whose One Nation Party claims to hold politicians to account, skipped the last two Senate Estimates hearings and didn’t make an appearance at the current round until Wednesday when she asked the question.

Estimates hearings, which are held three times a year, give the opposition and crossbenchers the opportunity to directly question key departmental officials and ministers over how funds are being spent however Senator Hanson spent the first round, held in October last year, in Norfolk Island and the second in Queensland where she held a press conference and dined with her Party’s state leader.

She spent the early part of last week in Western Australia where three of her party members were being sworn in to the state’s Parliament.

How’s that for keeping the bastards honest?
